MID WINTER LUNCHEONS
It’s mid-winter and your beloved racing craft is stowed and secured (hopefully). It’s time for the annual Off Soundings Off Season Mid-Winter Luncheons. Everyone is invited. The only competition available will be the strength of your sea stories! Join your fellow competitors at the Fisherman Restaurant at high noon on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The NOR and Yacht Scoring will be available by then and the season begins! BYOL, BYOS, BAFO2 (Buy Your Own Lunch, Bring Your Old Stories and Bring A Friend or Two!). It has been 8 decades of sailboat racing since the first gathering in 1933. The stories still have legs! Please note your schedule in the next few weeks. The Long Island Luncheon is set for Southold Fish Market on Thursday, February 12 and in Branford on Tuesday, March 10 at Lenny’s. PLUS….Make plans for you and your crew for the Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Hounds in Stonington on Saturday, April 18th.
